- Regulate your central heating so to avoid too high temperatures (we advise around 20°C by day and 16°C at night).
- Replace single-pane windows with double-glazing: this results in more thermal insulation and less heat loss.
- If you use air-conditioning in the summer, avoid too-low temperatures; choose conditioners that are environment-friendly and energy-efficient.
- Open the windows and change the air during the hottest part of the day. Remember that opening the windows while the air-conditioning is on means a pointless increase in energy consumption and more air pollution.
- At night, switch off the central heating and set it so that it comes on two hours before you wake.
